Common Questions & Policies


When you make a reservation with us, we’re ready to personally greet you at the front door. If you provide us with the names of everyone in your party, they will each be personally mentioned on the welcome card waiting for you in your room. You are welcome to check-in between 3 and 8 PM. We put a great deal of care into getting ready for your arrival and because of this we unfortunately cannot guarantee arrivals earlier than 3 PM.

Luggage Storage

If you arrive earlier in the day and are unsure of what to do while we’re preparing your room, we’re always happy to store your luggage and recommend activities around town.


Please plan on checking out of your guest room by 11am so that we may put the same level of care into preparing for the next guest.

Late Arrival

If you plan on checking in after 8pm, please call the front desk as soon as you know you’ll be late so that we can make special arrival arrangements for you.

Early Departure

Should you need to check-out earlier than your scheduled departure date, we understand but will need to charge you for the full cost of your stay.

Guest Identification Required

For security reasons, you’ll be asked to present valid picture identification along with your credit card during check-in.

Cancellation Policy

Should you need to cancel your reservation, you must call at least seven days prior to avoid a charge for the full amount of your reserved stay to your credit card. To ensure your reservation was properly cancelled, you must obtain a cancellation number from the innkeeper for your records. We can only guarantee your cancellation with this number.

Smoke-Free Property

Magellan is proud to be a smoke-free property. Smokers are kindly asked to step outside to the other side of the parking lot to smoke. Please do not smoke in any of the guest rooms, on the patios or balconies. If smoking occurs, there will be a $200 cleaning fee per night added to your folio. Please know we strictly enforce this policy.

Pet Policy

We love our pets but due to our polices, we are unable to allow guests to bring pets to stay. Service animals are permitted.

Additional Guests

Our rates are based on double occupancy and the maximum occupancy in all rooms is 2 people. If you have a small child, arrangements can be made to stay in the room, but must be made through email.
